How the mighty have fallen is a body of work relating to the act of translation. The work stems from video footage taken in a forest. This footage is accompanied by a narrated piece of fiction and autobiography focusing on issues in geometry, memory and compulsion. This video piece is re-worded in the gallery space using sculpture, photography and writing.
The work takes Friedrich Nietzsche's essay, On Truth and Lying in a Non-moral Sense, as a point of reference.
